The lush, contemplative outing, and his first for nearly a decade, mixes a hypnotic, picking guitar refrain with soaring strings and a gently flickering rhythm to gently wash over with a gorgeous subtextual power. Speaking of the track Blue States (aka Andrew Dragazis) explains, "The ethereal track builds on a simple guitar chord repeated throughout, while the wispy harmonies of a female voice fall over violins, giving off a mood of sublimity and hope – like staring at a mountain you’ve yet to climb."
