Sometimes all you need is to kick back in the sun, appreciate the good things and take a quiet moment by yourself. Well rising Austin based star Bayonne (real name Roger Sellers) has just unveiled the musical equivalent of a relaxing time out with dreamy new single 'Waves'. His rhythmic primal drumming and twinkling piano lend themselves to a euphoric wash of both calm and serenity that is as grounding as it is transcendent. His hazy vocals are beguiling and, though out of focus, grab your attention in the swirling mix. With two shows at The Great Escape and one in London in addition to the album just landing, there is plenty more Bayonne to come. - SJ
