London's Aria is one of those artists who shot to attention at a young age, only to retreat a little when the buzz began to build almost too quickly. Her track 'Eyes Wide Open' appeared online almost two years ago now and she's held back - save for 2014's glorious 'Shot In The Dark' - pretty much ever since. However, with the arrival of 'Shot In The Dark''s cinematic visuals, it's clear to see that something a lot more substantial in the offing from the 22 year-old. Not only are the crisply executed visuals indicative of her progress behind the scenes, 'Shot In The Dark' has been beefed up by producer Paul Stanborough (Kelis), whose deft touches serve to increase the potency of Aria's killer vocal and rousing synths and beats. - DC
