Alienblaze crafts genre-bending anthems that blur the lines between alt-pop, grunge, emo and electronica. Her latest track, ‘Lovesick’ sees her team up with OmenXIII to add a layer of rap to her rock sound, with a fusion of raucous guitars, dynamic percussion and a pulsating bass line creating a captivating sonic landscape. “I always wanted Lovesick to be a tortured love song, but it actually works even better as a duet,” she says. “I just love what OmenXIII has done with his verse and I think our two styles actually give the song an extra intensity.” Since her first release in 2019, Alienblaze has been turning heads and she’ll continue to do so over the course of 2023. -Dan Peeke
