Bristol-based Agata has created something special with her latest single, ‘For Sale’. She doesn’t waste a second to make her point, kicking off the video that accompanies the track with disturbing protest footage from her native Poland above an atmospheric soundscape. There is a powerful message behind the piece: “We hope to raise awareness of issues that women, LGBT, and gender non-conforming people of Poland are facing at the moment. We want to pay tribute to those who had their rights threatened in the middle of a pandemic, and who protested for days on end, despite the cold weather and on some occasions brutality from the police.” The rest of the track drifts from a sparse and melancholy first half, into a soaring second half full of texture and powerful, uplifting vocals. -Dan Peeke
