Irish punk band Adore have revealed their new single, ‘Sweet Keith’. Their sound is full of relentless noise - the guitars and drums blend into one powerful, clipping machine, before the texture drops down to reveal Lara Minchin’s disarmingly honest voice and lyrics. “One of my best friends noticed that a lot of my friends have far apart eyes, and came to the conclusion that this trait was much the same as ‘prey’ eyes in the animal world,” Minchin explains on the song’s background. “She then went on to say that she believed that a lot of my friends had far apart eyes which then translated in my monkey brain as to be gentle and safe as opposed to predators which typically have their eyes right on the front of their face. Sweet Keith is about my love for my friends and my love for how they always come as they are, their energy and their stories.” Their debut EP, BITER, is out on September 26th, 2025, via Big Scary Monsters. -Dan Peeke
