‘Robin Hood’s Bay’ is the latest release from Manchester-based self-declared ‘anti-folk’ band Adam Hopper & The Wimps. It’s an emotive, innocent track defined by its awkward charm. Melodic vocal duets find their place above distinctly jangly guitars in this airy, unique arrangement. “I used to go to Robin Hood’s Bay on family holidays camping when I was little, it holds a very special place in my heart,” explains Hopper. “The track is inspired a subsequent trip back as an adult and the song became a self-fulfilling prophecy.
