Since their dreamy debut, ‘Souvenirs’, Swimming Tapes have continued to stun with their heavenly blend of jangly guitars and swirling harmonies. Their latest single, ‘Queen's Parade’ features production credits from Adam Jaffrey (Leif Erikson), and we’re promised that it will feature on a new EP due out later this year. ‘Queen’s Parade’ takes its inspiration from the seafront parade in the band’s hometown - Bangor. There’s an effortless sense of seaside bliss that accompanies the track, which conjures up nostalgic images of striped deckchairs, melting ‘99s and long summer evenings. Where better then, to catch the band than at Brighton’s The Great Escape Festival, which takes place next week.
