There’s a cloud of mystery surrounding UK producer Sente. Yet the East Londoner is showing the hallmarks of the next big thing, having put out two stonking singles and remixed garage legend MJ Cole x AJ Tracey’s ‘The Rumble’. His debut release, ‘Mosquito’ featured the silver-tongued rapper Ashnikko, whose fiery vocals gave the track a similar energy to Azealia Banks’ ‘212’. Now, he’s back with ‘Medusa’, an absolute belter featuring clipped beats and some high-energy verses, this time by un-named features. Already, Sente has been picked up by Jamz Supernova, Jungle and Radio 1, and it comes as no surprise to learn that he was formally one half of SYV, who disbanded in January of this year.
