L.A. based singer-songwriter NoMBe, real name Noah McBeth, has just dropped ‘Wait’ – the newest single of his forthcoming album. Rather unconventionally, his debut album titled They Might’ve Even Loved Me is due to be released incrementally over the next 10 months. The reason? Much like a diary entry the songs are charting different stories from the women that have woven in and out of his life: girlfriends, summer flings, crushes, and even his godmother Chaka Khan. ‘Wait’ is confident album opener, with noodling guitars, a subtle four to the floor and McBeth’s soothingly soulful vocals: think Tom Misch meets Chet Faker.
