NoMBe is not afraid of doing things differently. His debut album, They Might've Even Loved Me is being drip-fed to the world a single per month, each track describing a significant woman in his life. According to the LA talent, real name Noah McBeth, ‘Freak Like Me’ was “the one and only song my significant other never wanted me to release. Lucky for you she eventually caved because the world needs to hear it.” As with the hitherto released ‘Wait’ and ‘Young Hearts’, the third episode in NoMBe’s oeuvre fuses bluesy guitars, wailing soulful synths and a smattering of sultry electro. As always, the production is flawless.
