Liv Dawson’s buttery vocal has soundtracked some of the best alternative pop records this year. Released via Method Records, she’s just dropped one final track to round off an exciting year: ‘Hush’. The track was premiered as MistaJam’s ‘Jam Hot’, and comes fresh off the back of Dawson’s UK tour which included opening for US superstar Miguel. Describing the track which was done in cahoots with Jimmy Napes (Sam Smith, Disclosure, Clean Bandit), Dawson says: ‘[‘Hush’ is] such a great vibe and leans on my love for RnB, especially the vocals hooks! ‘Hush’ is about a moment between two people, when you come together, but want to keep it on the down low, and that feeling of having a secret together.” We’ve been told that Dawson’s next-single-proper will come in early 2018 - and if you can’t wait till then, tide yourself over with the sultry video to ‘Hush’ below. -HM
