Welsh Heavenly Recordings-signed Huw Evans pka H.Hawkline gives another glimpse of his much anticipated new LP, I Romanticize, with quirky new track 'Engineers'. Having teamed up with Cate Le Bon to co-produce the album, it seems that some of his fellow Welsh musician's charm has rubbed off on him, as bouncing bass lines support jangling guitars, unusual percussion and analogue synthesizers as Hawkline's quirky lyrics breeze coolly over the top. Discussing the inspiration behind the track Hawkline writes, “Cyndi Lauper was playing on the radio, everything was in our out, I heard a journalist read a Martina Navratilova quote as the song ended: ‘The difference between involvement and commitment is like ham and eggs. The chicken is involved; the pig is committed.’ I wrote it all down in a pad, we’re all chickens, the pigs are having at it and everyone’s fallen out of love.” - HLMX
