They have been floating around the edges of the scene since 2014 but Hackney Wick four piece Zola Blood are finally coming through with a debut album. Entitled Infinite Games and out later this year, it is the product of the band's hard work and great evolution. Lead single 'Good Love' is the perfect taster, with its creeping and darkly arranged electronics. Broody in all the right places, and with plenty of emotional baggage in the lyrics, it's irresistibly hypnotising. Having sold out their headline at London's Pickle Factory next month, you've already missed the boat on this one. But we're sure they'll be back before long, album in tow. - SJ
