YONAKA have revealed the lead single from their debut EP Heavy, out now via Asylum/Atlantic Records. 'Bubblegum' - first showcased on Huw Stephens’ Radio 1 show via a live Maida Vale session - is a typically revved-up, adrenaline-fuelled number from the rising Brighton quartet and comes following a summer of festivals and live outings in increasingly large venues (the band are on tour throughout the coming weeks and months). With its eerie atmosphere and punk-tinged delivery, this new track hints at the quality of its adjoining EP, as well as the success to come as we move towards 2018 for the exciting YONAKA. -G.O'B
