We’re kicking ourselves for missing this beaut of a track from our favourite new pop trio Years & Years a week or so back. That’ll teach us for being so wrapped up in the Glastonbury buzz. The boys are back with a bang on ‘Take Shelter’, Olly Alexander’s sweet croon hits all the right notes over snaking synths and chiming beats. It’s got a faintly laidback, housey lilt to it, removed from the straight-up synthpop juggernaut ‘Real’ but we love Years & Years’s softer side just as much.
