Raucous East London girl-gang Yassassin have just dropped their naughty but definitely nice new single 'Cherry Pie'. Produced by Dave Allen (The Cure, Neneh Cherry) and mixed by Mike Moore (Liam Gallagher), 'Cherry Pie' is a storming combination of thumping bass, dirty guitars and bittersweet vocals, which teeter carefully on the edge of chaos. The new single comes alongside the announcement of Yassassin's debut EP Vitamin Y arriving on September 1st on super-cool female-championing indie label Babelogue. The video for 'Cherry Pie' is a sinister story, which shows drummer Ruth plotting a deadly revenge against her band mates by poisoning their (you guessed it) Cherry Pie.
