Having covered a lot of Wyldest’s recent tracks (such as ‘Headrush’), it’s great to see that their debut album, Dream Chaos, is still shaping up to be a big release. ‘Alive’ brings more of the psychedelia-inspired, dream-pop that we have been raving about with jangly guitar chords, distant production and Zoe Mead's unique voice floating above the waves of sound. Of the track, the band assert "The song is about letting a beautiful memory stay as a beautiful memory and resisting the temptation to go back to try and resurrect a chapter in your life which ended for a good reason". The band are gearing up for a headline tour around the UK this coming March, and will be bringing their positivity and enthusiasm to each of these shows. -Dan Peeke
