'Lazy Shade of Pink' is the most recent offering from 22-year-old Oxford resident Willie J Healey, whos carefree lo-fi tunes are kinda hard to describe in just one sentence. Effortlessly fusing together elements of everything from Mac Demarco-inspired guitar lines, garage rock-y fuzzed out bass lines, trumpet-laden choruses, pop melodies and an unexpected drum solo, Healey's music is both entertaining and totally unique. The song doesn't take itself too seriously and neither does the video as Healey invites you into his kooky realm, posing precariously in various countryside locations.
