Drawing on the high quality songwriting influence of Nick Drake and Joan Armatrading, this cut touches on the "human urge for self-documentation", as stripped-back production from Bullion allows for gently gritty guitar to form an increasingly warm and complex bed for Westerman's characteristic, unmistakable vocal, all building to a beautifully bucolic, organic finale.
