The effortless new single from Wes Reeve is a stream-of-consciousness journey through a dreamlike world. ‘Honey, I’ exists in an ethereal realm, inspired by childhood memories and fairy-tales, with the folky electronic music creating a bizarre, eclectic accompaniment for her strong lead vocal. The accompanying video takes inspiration from the Studio Ghibli film The Tale Of Princess Kaguya, demonstrating a higher and lower self while Reeve describes the track as “about the mind changing good things into bad things.
