Katie Crutchfield - aka Waxahatchee - has revealed a brand new single in the shape of 'Silver'. The first track to be taken from her fourth full-length of the project - Out In The Storm, due 14 July via Merge Records - it is a wonderfully uplifting, driving-rock return from the prolific indie artist, who explains, "It’s about self-examination and the different shapes that takes, good and bad. I wanted it to be abstract and poetic, but I also wanted to align it with the other songs on the album, since they’re all so connected lyrically." A track which comes alongside news of an extensive run of tour dates, 'Silver' is Waxahatchee at her golden best. -G.O'B
