Opening up with an ingenious retro-inspired bass line, Warmduscher’s deranged signature sound smacks you in the face after the first few bars. Slightly detuned guitars and demented-sounding synthesizers introduce real life cowboy Clams Baker’s brutally honest American drawl as he retells some hair-raising tales about the trials and tribulations of getting high. As always, 'Standing on the Corner' comes with a bizarre and fairly disturbing video, in which Arrows of Love bassist Nuha gives birth to a two-headed baby before setting it free attached to a bunch of balloons.
