Ukranian post-punk purveyors On The Wane have shared 'Sultry Song', the seductively-titled second single from their forthcoming album Schism. It's dark and atmospheric, as you might expect from a band that cites The Cure, Joy Division, Bauhaus and The Cocteau Twins as influences. Its menacing bassline, noisy guitars and industrial electronics, provide the perfect setting for singer Dari Maksimova's harrowingly dramatic vocals as they power towards an ending of indulgent effects pedal-induced noise to rival the likes of My Bloody Valentine or The Telescopes.
