Minneapolis experimental R&B pop artist Velvet Negroni has released his second album, NEON BROWN, which hones in on hybrid of cherry flavoured pop and intimate, emotional soul. 'FEEL LET' is the penultimate track from the eleven song album. It opens up with a repetitive melodic pattern, reverberated vocals, and country-meets-ethereal guitar bends. His vocals are catchy; delivered with a humbling honesty and an emotionality that's reminiscent of Frank Ocean. The West Indian-style drum pattern, sprinkled with reverb-drenched dub drum hits takes the track into a realm that lies beyond standard pop production, despite the shiny richness of his vocal style which has the potential to feature on a no.1 track.
