VANCOUVER SLEEP CLINIC SUPERFLY FT. RAURY

Who knows where Atlanta rising star Raury finds the time to sleep. Between rumoured collaborations with Kanye West, who was said to be "inspired" by Raury's visuals for 'God's Whisper' (later confirmed by Raury's manager), preparing to open for OutKast at their huge homecoming shows, and not least, releasing his own record, Indigo Child, a collection of genre-hopping tracks composed by the Atlanta polymath; he's still found time to record 'Superfly' with another rising star in Tim Bettenson aka Vancouver Sleep Clinic.

Cribbing the chorus melody from Kid Cudi's 'Day 'n' Nite', Raury and Bettenson pour their willowy vocals over cannon-shot kick-drums, skittish field-recorded beats, and twanging acoustic guitars. An ode to summer nights, pretty ladies, and inevitable goodbyes; it's another typically magpie-ish work from two of the hottest young artists on the planet.
