Now the exciting young 4-piece have shared their spiraling dream pop ballad ‘Emphysema’ on South Coast-based tastemaker label Strong Island Recordings. Wearing their influences firmly on their sleeves, citing King Krule, The Buttertones and The Everly Brothers as their faves, these young crooners’ music is both uplifting and heartbreaking as singer Sam swoons 'Emphysema have you seen her? Watch me crumble in her fingers'. Ugly will be celebrating the release at Birthdays in Dalston tomorrow (27th January) with Kagoule, Lice and Pink Kink for Label Mates Festival. -HLMX
