Despite there being very little information about the crystalline-voiced singer/songwriter Tsörf, her debut ‘Can I Be Close 2U?’ is as celestial and lucid as the stunning depths of her homeland New Zealand. Hailing from such an untainted, pristine wilderness, it's no wonder that the track is a spectacular work of elegance. Tsörf delicately begs for the intimacy of another, and in doing so her words float within illustrious electronic sound pools. This first single (due to be taken from her upcoming EP) is basked in an aura of tenderness, and with such an intrepid purity to her sound, we can only imagine special things around the corner. -LB
