They may have a new name but Trudy and the Romance are still doing what they do best, and what has been winning them swathes of support for the best part of a year now. Adding 'the Romance' has done nothing to distill the raucous, laissez-faire blues-tinged scuzz the Liverpudlians omit. With shades of The Strokes and sizable leaves from The Districts' book, the trio have teamed up with tastemaking US label B3SCI for 'He Sings', which comes as part of a Bill Ryder-Jones-produced double A and ahead of a handful of live dates.
