Tired Lion have revealed news of their debut Glastonbury appearance on the John Peel stage at this year's festival, alongside news of a freshly inked deal with Island Records and a boisterous live video for current single 'Suck'. The Aussie punk rockers fit somewhere amongst Bully, Dilly Dally and countrywoman Courtney Barnett, thanks to their gently tongue-in-cheek feel and the raucous, carefree attitude they omit. Fronted by the revved-up Sophie Hopes, Tired Lion are set to bring their scuzzy sounds to London's Lexington on 14 July as part of an extensive 2016 tour; there's nothing tired about this lot. -G.O'B
