‘The Here and There’ from collective The Mercy Stone (founded by guitarist and composer Scott Grady back in 2​016​, see pictured) is the ideal soothing listen to start the week with. It’s a flowing audible river of sublime melodies, subtle synthwork, gentle guitars and delightful vocal harmonies; all of which arises images of love and therefore the absence of it through those winding abstract lyrics. The video echoes the serene experience of listening to this track, with the band’s members sat cross-legged on the floor surrounded by candles in a half-meditative state.
