London-based Terravī piqued our interest last year with their mystical demo ‘Resan’, which floated between the desert rock of Mdou Moctar, the psychedelics of The Brain Jonestown Massacre and the breathy vibes of Mazzy Star. Their first fully-realised track ‘Sheep’ is a dynamic rollercoaster. Held together by a hypnotic bass groove and a haunting synth drone, frantic drums and exotic guitars interrupt the track’s trance-like state, leading you on a sonic journey of epic proportions. Having caught them live at the recently-saved The Social in Soho last year, we can say with confidence that Terravī are even better live.
