We've been following the progress of Tei Shi since day dot, so it's really pleasing to see Valerie Teicher's music - and visuals - coming together so beautifully in 2015. This new video for 'See Me', drawn from her ace Verde EP, takes us on a journey through two worlds which have influenced Valerie greatly: Bogota, where her mum's family are from, and NYC where she now lives and makes music. The film features Valerie performing to an empty room, prepared for a party, wandering through the wilds of Colombia, and eventually astride a llama, or is that an alpaca? Who knows, but the softly chugging pace of the visuals is a perfect match for the breathy 'See Me' and its beautifully muted sonic textures. - DC
