Tear are a band that will make your eyes water. On the verge of dropping mini-album VINYL01, out on Tim Burgess' O Genesis label on 7 March, they are as loud as they come. But where they differ from other punk bands is that they take their foot off the speed pedal and let the grungy vocals of lead singer Camille Benett drive their noise. Ahead VINYL01, they've given us new video 'Careless Again' and it's the perfect reminder of their raw angst. Filmed in Joshua Tree, California, it builds to a bass-laden Fleetwood Mac breakdown before a thrilling thrash to the end. We think Tear may rip through the scene pretty quickly with this attitude. - SJ
