Full of atmospherics, Brooklyn duo tamper are making a name for themselves as the purveyors of cinematic indie. Gentle and awash with pulsating synths, with 'A New Fire' they team wistful lyrics with some expansive production for a sound that is both intimate and encapsulating. This time around they've put a sighing drop in the middle as they take a breath in stock for an upward push at the end. Glistening in all the right places and with hints of big things to come in the future, tamper need no adjusting whatsoever. - SJ
