As London hits unbearable and gorgeous highs, it is almost as if Syd Arthur planned the weather to time with the release of their ‘Sun Rays’ video. A warm, graded retro treatment, the 70's vibes are heavily emphasised here to go along with the vintage organ and twanging guitar solos. This single is the third in a trilogy conceptualised by guitar Liam Magill and collaborator Gavin Rush, with one more yet to come. You can expect the full album in October via Communion Records and to support it the band will be touring with White Denim throughout the UK around that time. It may not still be sunny then, but with 'Sun Rays', it's an eternal summer. - SJ
