With upcoming tour dates in Guildford and Leeds to name a few, and a solid back catalogue of releases including the single ‘Pyrenees’, Swimming Tapes have laid a great foundation for the release of their upcoming album Morningside, due on May 24^th. Their latest release, ‘Passing Ships’ draws on bouncy, uplifting melodies and trippy, psychedelic guitar work that evoke a feeling of summer. Like their previous single, this track was recorded and produced using the vintage 1970s equipment that creates the track’s hazy, classic tone, with a mostly live performance creating the natural sound heard throughout. -Dan Peeke
