Sometimes things are better straightforward and LA musician Stephen seems to have no problem with being forthright. Maybe it's his no-frills name that lends itself to honest songwriting, as new single 'Sincerely' is a direct jab at society's conformities. His music refuses to sit on the fence with the electronic treatment and direct lyrics, all at brilliants odds with his rockier persona and the electric guitar breakdown at the apex. Going where other artists are afraid to go, it seems Stephen makes it his business to shake things up with his call for revolution and a new way of thinking. With his debut album Sincerely, Stephen teetering on release, we're convinced that Stephen will have hordes of followers come its arrival in April. - SJ
