There is little known about Irish-born, now London-based duo St Francis Hotel, except that they seem to have a knack for teaming up with some talented and intriguing collaborators. Following their fairly recent offering 'Liar Liar Liar' featuring vocals from former Supergrass frontman Gaz Coombes, their new single 'The Truth Is Dead' sees Theresa Wayman of Warpaint adding ghostly tones to the track under her newly established TT moniker. Dripping in reverb, Wayman's harrowing lyrics burn with honesty over a backdrop of trip-hop-inspired beats as sub-heavy synthesizers and bleating electronics add to the dystopian feeling of the song. 'The Truth Is Dead' will appear on the 30th Century Compilation Volume 2 together with unreleased Danger Mouse, Sparklehorse and more. -Holly Mullineaux
