SORRY ROCK 'N' ROLL STAR

After arrival of 'Right Round The Clock' and the long-awaited announcement of their debut album 925 last month, London's Sorry have shared another sultry cut. With wiry guitars and aggressively blown saxophones set over a bossanova-inspired bass line, Asha Lorenz' taunting vocals exude attitude on 'Rock 'n' Roll Star'. Getting dirtier after the chorus hits, an untamed, almost country-inspired, interlude demands your attention with frantic drumming and meandering guitars that wiggle their way back to more recognisable ground. Accompanied, as always, by a semi-self-directed video, which sees Asha playing the role of a sleazy Elvis, it's definitely worth a watch. -Holly Mullineaux
