'Six Pips' is the brand new single from Social Contract, out now on Ear Munch. The South London four-piece channel early Bombay Bicycle Club and the dark and driving shoegaze of JAWS - a band they recently supported at London's Scala - to create their infectious brand of indie rock. A brooding vocal performance joins the swathes of glittering guitar work with increasingly urgent drum work all coming together to form the gently unsettling outing. Fans of the brilliantly slow-burning Blaenavon are well advised to keep an eye on the newcomers, who explain, "'Six Pips' is the product of overthinking moments in relationships that seemed ordinary at the time, but are now manifested into something more sinister upon reflection."
