Snapped Ankles announce signing to The Leaf Label with new motorik track 'I Want My Minutes Back'. The creative East London trio have gained a reputation for their appearances at warehouse raves and frequent collaborations with filmmakers, not to mention their unusual forest-inspired stage get up. Their latest effort is a krautrocky post punk affair with bleeping synthesizers, an insanely catchy bass line, and over dramatic scratchy vocals, which work their way into your head and stay there for the duration of the day. The song is accompanied by an equally interesting video, part indoor synchronised swimming class, part unorthodox cooking lesson featuring a hot dog impaled by spaghetti, it's hard to look away. ‘I Want My Minutes Back' will be available on 7" vinyl and free download from Bandcamp on Friday 17 March. - HLMX
