Boy-girl duos of electro quirk always seem to hold a special charm and SKIES from Folkestone in Kent are no different. Having wrapped up last year with a handful of live shows to coincide with the EP release of If you Feel Like It, the pair have confidently kept the momentum going for 2016. With three tracks currently on their Soundcloud page, this morning’s unveiling of 'Drone' feels like the bands boldest and most dazzling offering yet. SKIES are architects who build anthemic and exhilarating walls of sound, and this intertwined with vocalist Alie Cotter's starlight husk of a voice is a recipe for success.
