Having dropped their debut self released EP Bodies On The Loose yesterday, there is something extremely exciting about new fusion band Sister Wanzala. A trio from Bradford consisting of the three Wanzala-Ryan brothers, the band have dubbed their laid back jams 'cold funk' in what is a perfect description of the chunky basslines and bouncing hooks. 'Shy Heat / Heaven' is the strongest of the four track release, but don't dismiss the others as the whole EP is a taste of great things to come from this funk-filled family. -SJ
