Portland, Oregon based electronic RnB artist Shy Girls (real life name: Dan Vidmar) has just announced his next body of work, with an iridescent, encapsulating new single entitled ‘I Am Only A Man’. Lifted from the aforementioned forthcoming (currently untitled) second EP, it’s the first piece of new music to be heard since his 2015 4WZ mixtape, and it’s a very welcome return. Opening proceedings with a stunning organ / vocal combo, ‘I Am Only A Man’ - then swerves into its powerful drum-led chorus, where Vidmar’s vocals soar above rich, forward-thinking electronic instrumentation. If this new single is anything to go by, then Shy Girls looks set to make a serious step up with his new EP, and we can’t wait. -JC
