This techy house track from the dynamic duo of Sharam Jey & Vanilla Ace is taken from the recently dropped My Thang EP. It layers a multitude of treated vocals above a bouncy bassline and popping percussion, giving the piece the 90s feel that spawned Jey’s prolific career. London’s Vanilla Ace brings his own vibe to the track, with similarities to tracks that have appeared on the likes of Spinnin’ Deep and Night Bass. ‘My Thang’ is split in half by a slow build-up which finally drops into a twisting display of electronic finery that proves why the last five years of collaboration have been so productive for the duo. -Dan Peeke
