Having had a release hiatus since 2014, Australian electronic trio Seekae make their comeback today with glacial new track 'Turbine Blue'. Recorded in Berlin’s Funkhaus Studio on a collection of vintage synthesisers, the band found the inspiration for the song after collecting a microwaved pizza from a petrol station and you can hear all the bleakness of that situation within the wash of cold sounds. Shimmeringly brittle and filled with slow funk, it’s really a love song founded in the finding a reflective moment of beauty in the mundane. The silky vocals on 'Turbine Blues' particularly put wind in our sails. - SJ
