Following-on from the release of their debut A.O.B. EP and a sold out London launch show, Our Mother have revealed their reworking of Sébastien Tellier's epic 2004 cut 'La Ritournelle'. The Tottenham-based four-piece, consisting of John Hartley, Paul Kowalewski, Liam Garrett and Joseph Charlton, bring their intuitive Caribou-esque hue to the outing whilst maintaining the emotional drive of the original, adding an eerie subtext to proceedings that mirrors their own work, thanks to the bass stabs and haunting Berlin techno scene production. An almost sitar-sounding line also appears as the track swells organically into the latest piece of proof that Our Mother are yet another exciting Lucky Number outfit. -G.O'B
