Aligning with the release of their debut EP, simply entitled EP1, San Scout have revealed a brand new track from the extended player. 'Get Me By' follows in the footsteps of its predecessors, thanks to the London pair's atmospheric, reverberating production work and gently melancholic story-telling song-craft. "I shouldn't need a lot of things to get me by" Jonny and Freddie - who met while studying and embraced their mutual love of electronic music - pine, before the cut's haunting opening develops into the glitching, intricate rhythms they are making their own. With gentle nods to the likes of Jai Paul and even Jack Garratt's intelligent mainstream pop, San Scout are more than just getting by, they're making a real statement for 2016. -G.O'B
