Adopting his new Saint Jude moniker, South London-based songwriter, producer and SLOW DANCE signing Jude Woodhead has shared the dazzling first single from his forthcoming debut EP. Opening with a slick guitar riff, the poetically titled 'Deaf Ears, Blind Years' pairs gentle, dancey beats with soft, padded synths and warm, artificial strings that add a sprinkle of 90s nostalgia to the accomplished outing. With Woodhead's plainly-delivered vocals and highly considered lyrics stealing the show, 'Deaf Ears, Blind Years' is a masterclass in contemplative alt-pop.
